Working with other distributors and producers, Symes’ company has represented such prize winning films as Howards End, Reservoir Dogs, Ken Loach’s Ladybird, Ladybird and Land and Freedom, Thomas Vinterberg’s Festen, Peter Mullan’s The Magdalene Sisters, Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle, Guillermo del Toro’s Pan’s Labyrinth and Darren Aronofsky’s Oscar winning The Wrestler.
And, an indication of the company’s diversity, it has also turned its hand to promoting such international box office hits as Wayne’s World, Clueless, and The Rugrats Movie.
The firm also excels in working with directors making their first features which it has done with notable success with such now well established directors as Neil Jordan (Angel, and Company of Wolves), Quentin Tarantino (Reservoir Dogs), Joel and Ethan Coen (Blood Simple), and Fernando Meirelles and Katia Lund
